Below, please find pictures of our two finest girls!
The first one is my Andalusian, Danita. Isn't she lovely?
She won Best Mediterranean at the SeaSide Feather Fanciers show
in Ventura,
California in October 2007.
Y'know, the
funny
thing about this color (clear slate blue) is that it picks up the
colors
surrounding it. You'll notice she has a reddish tinge that
is
not there in real life. What
happened is, behind this green cloth
there is a red one that is showing on both sides of
the green. You
can't see it in the picture but you can see it reflected in the silver
parts of the feather boa at her feet. And it shows in her
feathers.
The two pictures below are a little more true to life. Not
so much of the red is glowing
in her blue.
And now for Ariel's little sweetie. This is Missy. She won
Reserve Jr. Old English in the SeaSide Feather Fanciers
Show in Ventura, California in October 2007. In the open show
she got 4th Best OE out of 110!!
She looks like she is floating on a cloud of white feathers.
Here she is... "Queen Cleopatra" of
the chicken world. Isn't she
just adorable with her jewels?
Here she is attending a Harvest Hoe-Down.
This page will be constantly changing as we get newer
pictures of our girls. We'll have to come up with one
for our handsome guys too!
